Building on 2023 – where demand for major sun destinations and European city breaks soared - Aer Lingus is elevating the travel experience to new heights in 2024 with 66 European destinations to choose from, including exciting new routes to Heraklion, Crete; Dalaman, Turkey; and Catania, Sicily, Irish holidaymakers can explore a diverse range of cultures and landscapes.

Expanded Connectivity: In response to growing demand, Aer Lingus has increased capacity on key routes and introduced additional services to enhance connectivity. This includes increased frequencies on popular routes from Cork and the seasonal extension of the Cork to Tenerife route. The new Shannon to Paris route, which debuted in late 2023, will continue to operate throughout the full summer 2024 season, offering seamless connections to the City of Light.

With demand into Ireland also increasing, particularly from Spain, Germany, and Italy – and Aer Lingus is also offering up to 20% off flights and bags from these destinations. Another trend is bookings for longer trips, indicating a rise in "bleisure" travel—combining business and leisure needs. This trend is especially noticeable in European destinations such as London, Amsterdam, Madrid, Paris, Geneva, Munich, and Lisbon.
