Sunday, 15th March

 

"Aer Lingus requests that only those due to fly with us in the next 72 hours contact our call centre. While we have expanded our call centre and social media teams in recent days, we know that guests experiencing flight disruption are having difficulty getting through to us. We want to ensure that our social media and call centre teams can deal with those experiencing flight disruption and with imminent travel plans. Guests due to travel from Wednesday onwards that want to change their flight, can do so online. Change fees have been waived. We appreciate your understanding."

Aer Lingus is continuing to monitor the situation and will liaise with the Department of Foreign Affairs, other Government Departments and relevant authorities as required. Our existing policies and procedures are in line with the guidance provided by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).”

Tuesday 25th - 26th February

“Aer Lingus notes that the Department of Foreign Affairs has advised that in response  to Coronavirus cases in Italy, the Italian Government has placed travel restrictions on the following towns: Codogno, Castiglione d’Adda, Casalpusterlengo, Fombio, Maleo, Somaglia, Bertonico, Terranova dei Passerini, Castelgerundo, San Fiorano (in Lombardy) and Vo’ (in Veneto). The Department of Foreign Affairs is accordingly advising Irish citizens not to travel to these towns.

Aer Lingus continues to operate flights to and from all destinations on our network.

Aer Lingus is continuing to monitor the situation and will liaise with the Department of Foreign Affairs, other Government Departments and relevant authorities as required.”
