As the Official Airline of the Irish Rugby Team, Aer Lingus was proud to send the Irish rugby squad on their way to Japan and to help to bring Home Advantage wherever we play.
Aer Lingus cabin crew and ground staff formed a guard of honour as the Irish rugby squad, led by Coach Joe Schmidt and Captain Rory Best, boarded the Green Spirit flight EI174 to London Heathrow. The flight was operated by Aer Lingus Captain Thomas Jordan and First Officer Nicholas Power.
Aer Lingus Cabin Crew who escorted the Irish rugby squad throughout the airport and to the aircraft included pilots David Morrissey and Kate Collins Caffrey and cabin crew members Laura Stapleton, Grace Duignan, Leanne Stapleton and Donna Doherty.
