Manchester, 8 December 2023 - Aer Lingus has launched a new recruitment drive aimed at hiring 14 cabin crew based in Manchester in partnership with Nobox recruitment.

These exciting job opportunities are designed to attract a diverse group of people, reflecting Aer Lingus’s commitment to expanding and diversifying its workforce and growing in its Manchester operation.

An assessment day will take place at The Sky People Academy in Manchester on 10 January to ascertain suitability for the role which will be followed by a formal interview. Successful candidates will then undergo a comprehensive pre-selection Cabin Crew training programme at the Sky People Training Academy beginning in March 2024. The training programme will cover all aspects of the role, including safety procedures, customer service, and emergency situations.

The comprehensive programme will provide candidates with training on the Airbus A330 aircraft type which operate the long-haul flights from Manchester to Barbados, New York and Orlando. 

Aer Lingus takes great pride in the career progression and dedication of its Cabin Crew, with ongoing training, mentoring and development opportunities within Inflight Services.

Many cabin crew make long term careers at the Irish flag carrier and progress to a wide range of other roles within the Operations Department.

Every day is varied for cabin crew, and their consistent goal is to ensure the safety of every customer while upholding the Aer Lingus onboard experience.

Eligible applicants must be 18 years of age or over, able to live and work in the United Kingdom, have fluent spoken and written English, hold a valid hold a valid UK/ EU passport allowing for unrestricted worldwide travel, have the ability to obtain a US visa and have at least 12 months combined experience in a customer service/sales role.
