• New direct route from Dublin to Nashville will commence on 12^th April, 2025, with four flights per week on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
• This new route will be operated by an Airbus A321XLR, offering greater fuel efficiency, comfort and the latest in-flight technology

Dublin, 4 October 2024 – Aer Lingus today announces the launch of Ireland’s first direct flight from Dublin to Nashville, Tennessee, commencing on 12th April, 2025. The new route will operate four weekly flights on Aer Lingus’ new state-of-the-art Airbus A321XLR aircraft, connecting Ireland to one of the fastest-growing cities in the US, renowned as "Music City" for its deep-rooted musical heritage.

Visitors can explore legendary sites like the Grand Ole Opry, which has been hosting performances since 1925, or take a stroll down Music Row, where the city’s heart beats in the form of recording studios and publishing houses. The Country Music Hall of Fame and Ryman Auditorium are must-see stops for anyone wanting to dive into the history and evolution of the genre.

Beyond its musical heritage, Nashville is one of the fastest-growing cities in the US, with a metro population of 2.4 million people. While music may be its soul, industries such as fashion, healthcare, finance, and automotive have made it a thriving economic hub.

All U.S. bound customers will also clear US customs & immigration facility at Dublin airport.

Customers flying with Aer Lingus to Nashville or any other North American destination can avail of Dublin Airport’s US Pre-Clearance facility. The service allows customers to pre-clear all US immigration and customs formalities, meaning you’re effectively on US soil once you're cleared.

The Airbus A321XLR is a long-range performance aircraft with up to 20% lower fuel burn per seat than previous generation aircraft. As the widest single-aisle aircraft cabin on the market, Aer Lingus customers will also enjoy more space and wider seats, the latest technology for in-flight entertainment, as well as acoustic engineering for quieter cabins. The journey time from Dublin to Nashville is 9hrs 05 and 8hrs 10 return from Nashville to Dublin, with the route operating almost year-round, with a brief six-week suspension in January and February.
